Again, its that time of the year with all the note writing talks about how we want to hit the gym twice a day, read those inspirational books, get to a satisfactory point of our lives as well as supersede our lifestyle from last year. While some of us struggle to keep up with the first couple weeks of the year, the rest are already “done again” and waiting for 2019, here are few examples of realistic achievable goals we can all set for ourselves:

Reconnect with an old friend – Reach out to an old member of the family, friend or other lost relationships. You will be surprised by how much stronger the lost relationship will wax.

Declutter - Get rid of old things, get rid of old energy to make room for the new. Always remember you need empty hand/space to receive newbies.

Financial wisdom - Make plans to save enough money, start investing your money. Don’t be left out when we all start talking about our proceeds from crypto.

Act more, procrastinate less - What have you always wanted to try? Ballet classes? professional swimming lessons? Or that big skydiving wish? Do a quick Google search and make it happen

Explore a creative hobby - whether you want to pick up an instrument, learn how to paint, do something that fuels your creative soul, because human beings are meant to create.

Design your ideal habits - whether you want to start exercising, journaling, drinking tea in the mornings, whatever it is make it a plan to slowly incorporate your new habits into your lifestyle one at a time.

Make/Break habits - make a list of your bad habits you want to let go of, start one at a time, tell a friend to keep you accountable.

Read more, daily - Make it a commitment to read everyday. Start from your least threshold then graduate at your own convenient pace. You will master the joy behind the art of reading in no time

Or listen to audio books instead - if you feel like you can’t make time to read every day. This is a no-excuse option for every age, and even for free with some apps.

Motivate yourself more – This helps to sharpen your self-confidence, thereby bringing out the best in you. You need that inner strength more than ever.

Always remember there is a limit to how other’s opinion and advices can influence your decisions. You are still in charge of what makes you happy.
