"There’s no denying that rap/hip hop group Run DMC can be credited for making sneakers “cool.” Recognized for rocking adidas three stripe track suits with (usually) unlaced Shell Toes on their feet, that is where the inspiration comes for these two colorways of the adidas superstar. While this is not an official Run DMC collab (that’s coming later this year), there’s no denying that these pairs are directly inspired by the way DMC used to rock their pairs. Coming in the two iconic colorways of white/black and black/white, these adidas Superstars come equipped with smooth leather uppers, rubber shell toes, and of course no laces on the tongue giving the shoe the slip-on look.
