Why learn German- The general guideline in Germany is to submit your application in the Language of the company. Given that the majority of job postings are in German, submitting an English application will only diminish your chances of making it past the screening stage. Professional translation of your application form may appear to be the answer, but beware: you will be required to expose your genuine German skills at some stage during the interview process.
