After revealing the inaugural PlayStation colourway of the nike pg 5 playstation schuhe, the Swoosh are now preparing a secondary colourway, the predominantly blue uppers taking cues from the PS5 home screen.Known for travelling with his PlayStation on the road, the colourway of course borrows heavily from Sony’s mega successful PS5, with the in-house PlayStation team (including Yujin Morisawa) even collaborating on the sneakers. Building from the clean lines and minimalist colour scheme of the PS5, the PG 5 features split branding on the tongue, while each shoe incorporates the legendary symbolic patterns seen on the DualSense wireless controller.
While several important silhouettes under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella are celebrating milestone anniversaries throughout 2022, Nike Air Max‘s 35th birthday arguably takes precedence, as it’s left its mark across dozens of designs across the last five decades. As part of the celebration, the Swoosh has put together the “XXXV” Collection, which now includes an air max 97 herren grau covered in “Black” and “Sport Turquoise” tones.
