In the era of the twenty-first century, the demand of new technology is growing day by day. Now nobody is interested in the old technology, which is complex and under-developed. Because of the increasing demand, the data also started to grow astronomically. Now, when big data is there, it needs to get storage too. So a framework like Hadoop has solved the problem of storage. But the big data needs to get processed too. So, data science was introduced to solve the problem of processing big data. There was once a technology called business intelligence (BI). It was for processing data. But for processing of voluminous and big data, a tool like BI cannot handle the sheer volume. So, data science was invented to handle all these problems. In general, data science is the tool that takes help of scientific methods, processes the given algorithms, and processes the system to distillate knowledge. It also helps in taking information from the structured as well as unstructured data. It has adequate algorithms to clarify problems. It is a dynamic programming system. This theme has a relationship to computer science, statistics and information science and mathematics.
It is the fourth archetype of science because of its four reasons; because it is data driven, it is theoretical, it is computed, and it is empirical. Data science helps in solving the complex problems empirically. It helps in allowing a business to make agile decisions in running that business.
